    Deer Shed Festival

A group of Year 7, 8 and 9 students have been very busy making art work to decorate the inside of a shed to fit the theme of this year’s Deer Shed Festival, “The Wilderwild”.

After spending hours upcycling old plastic drinks bottles, the students finally have some beautiful flowers, a toadstool chair, as well as some wonderful paintings to display.  Eight pupils spent a Saturday morning decorating the shed and the end result is fantastic.  The shed will be used as a story telling space for the children at the festival where they will be transported by the stories and setting into the mystical Wilderwild.  Thank you to the organisers of the Deer Shed Festival for letting us have the chance to get involved, it has been a lot of fun and we look forward to next year’s creations!
