Applying to the Sixth Form 2017 Entry

The application process for this year has now formally closed but please contact Mr Pentland, Head of Sixth Form College, if you are looking for a place for 2017.

We are really pleased that we continue to collaborate with Easingwold and Boroughbridge Sixth Forms and due to this we are able to offer an increased set of options for students.  We believe that students benefit from both a wider course offer and the opportunity to mix with students from our partner schools.

Our students select 3 or 4 A level or equivalent courses in Year 12 before continuing with three subjects to full A level or equivalent. The exception to this is our Bridge Programme for students who did not get the entry grade of five GCSE grade C results.  These students get an individual programme of level 2 courses aimed at developing their career aspirations.

Please note Entry into year 13 is dependant on passing internally set exams in the Summer term.

The aim is that the majority of students will go directly for the A level exams and as such will not sit AS exams.  These are available for those that require it, though there will be a self fought element to this.

Please get in touch with Mrs Barr on 01845 522024 or email for more information.
