"One great thing about Thirsk School is all the sports they provide. At Thirsk School there are really good sports like rugby, football, badminton, basketball, dodgeball, tennis and many more. Thirsk School's teachers are all good teachers they will take you up the road of success and will support you all the way. "

    • Katie Y9

"Thirsk School has great art rooms and great technology rooms to offer. They provide a variety of art materials to help your creative juices flow and try to inspire and encourage as much as possible."
    • Madison Y12

"It’s great to be a part of the sixth form : the lessons are engaging and challenging and the teachers do their level best to help us improve. There’s a great community atmosphere in the sixth form and everyone’s opinion is heard and considered, whether it’s in a friendship group, lesson, or in the sixth form as a whole."

    • Emily Y7

"The lessons at Thirsk School and Sixth Form College are great fun. I especially enjoy PE because the teacher is very kind to us. Moving up from primary to secondary school seemed very scary but everybody, including the upper school stuents, really welcomed me."

    • Daniel Y7

"I really enjoy coming up to Thirsk School, everyone makes you feel really welcome and they focus on each subject equally in their own creative way. The best thing for me is the wide range of clubs - I am really privileged to come here."
